Description In this two-day training, participants will explore theories of best practice relevant to their work with infants-toddlers and their families; benefits and barriers of implementing primary care and continuity of care; and how include children with special needs in infant/toddler classrooms.
On the first day of the Symposium, participants will gain a deeper understanding of child development from birth to age three. They will also explore concepts for creating optimal learning environments for infants and toddlers.
On day two, students will explore strategies designed to raise consciousness and comfort-levels about infants & toddlers with special needs and thoughtful ways to work with their families, increasing their own skills in observation and recording to document the need for referrals, helping caregivers better develop successful inclusion plans. |
